Overview: Promoting Your Team Building Project on Facebook

With over 500 million users Facebook has become an invaluable resource for marketers, especially network marketers. However, Facebook's success has also made them a Spammers paradise!
As a result, Facebook has become more aggressive in identifying and banning Spammers. Many people have gotten banned who are not really Spammers, but their actions have been 'perceived' by Facebook to be those consistent with Spamming.
Important: Here are my suggestions to safely promote the Team Building on Facebook without getting banned for spamming.
  • Send no more than ten (10) friend request per day.
  • Post your Team Building Project partner referral link no more than five (5) times per day.
  • Do Not post the exact same message every time. Post unique text to ensure each message is slightly different.
  • Wherever you post your Team Building Project link (you wall, another Facebook users wall, news feed, Groups, etc.), make sure it only appears ONCE on the entire page. That means delete any/all previous posts before posting your partner referral link again.
  • Send no more than five (5) messages per day to other Facebook users.
  • Avoid 'sales pitch' language in your posts (e.g. money, income, hurry, growing fast, opportunity, etc.). This type of language is definitely recognized and tracked by Facebook's system.
Keep your Facebook Profile page clean so that it does not look too spammy or like you are simply interested in network marketing recruiting.
  • When you join or post to a Facebook Group, return to your 'Profile' page and delete the notice of you joining or posting to that Group from your wall. Don't worry; your post will not be deleted from the 'Group' wall.
I believe the above suggestions will help you avoid getting banned from Facebook and in addition, attract more Facebook friend requests!
